What should I bring to events or the conference?

A water bottle, and pen & paper!

What is the dress code, and will there be a coat check? 

The dress code is business casual/casual. Essentially, we want you to be comfortable and ready to grab knowledge! Come as you are - we’ll have a coat check at registration at the Nest room 2508.

Is there food provided during the Saturday conference? 

We are providing a light breakfast, coffee, tea, and lunch . These are both included in your ticket. Dinner is not provided.

How is Comagape incorporating sustainability? 

We are partnered with Cuppy, a cup share initiative, so we’ll have reusable instead of paper/plastic cups. We encourage you to bring a water bottle! Comagape has rented lanyards, name tags, tablecloths and decorations instead of buying new material and contributing to more plastic production. Also, our conference pamphlet will be online to reduce paper waste.

Throughout weekday lead-up events and Saturday’s main conference, speakers are covering topics on sustainability and how it intersects with faith. We’re called to take good care of the planet God has given us!

Where will the registration desk be located? 

On the day of the conference (Saturday, February 8th), we’ll be located at NEST 2508 with coat check.

What's the difference between weekday events and the full-day conference? 

Afternoon and evening lead-up workshops will occur Wednesday February 5th to Friday February 7th, and are free and open to the public! The full-day conference is Saturday, February 8th from 9:00am to 6:30pm, which requires a ticket. This will include worship (opening and closing worship will be led by Paclife Worship), integrative workshops, and opportunities to converse and interact with other Christian young adults. Students will be allocated to Saturday workshops based on preferences giving during ticket sales. We want Comagape to be a place where attendees can create bonds beyond their usual circles–as we spend the day together, attendees will have countless opportunities for discussion, conversation, and connection. 

What will workshops be like?

We’ve allowed each speaker to run the workshop in their preferred style. We have requested them to leave 15 minutes of Q&A at the end of each session. Panel workshops will have an MC who will facilitate questions from the crowd.
