ACTS Seminaries is an educational meeting place, where faculty and students come together in the conviction that more can be learned through cooperation than in isolation. As a student at ACTS, you have access to a broader range of resources than any one seminary could offer independently. With multiple denominations under one roof, you get a front-row seat as followers of Jesus from different traditions think together about what it means to follow Christ. This creates a balanced learning environment that welcomes and engages multiple perspectives, helping you become more fully aware and engaged in your own church. As a result, you are better able to serve wherever God has called you. ACTS is a partnership of four denominational seminaries - Canadian Baptist Seminary, MB Seminary, Northwest Seminary, Trinity Western Seminary.
Regent College was founded in 1968 as the first graduate school of theology in North America to make education of the laity its central focus. Our Christ-centred graduate programs and courses bring together vibrant evangelical faith and rigorous academics.
Over 600 students join us every term (full- and part-time), from over 40 countries, representing more than 30 denominations. These students come from every vocation and field, with a breadth of perspectives, cultures, and ages. They leave transformed—spiritually and academically—and stay members of a thriving alumni community far beyond graduation.
Regent is truly transdenominational—welcoming students from all ends of the theological spectrum. As an institution, Regent is both evangelical and orthodox, but our first priority is to remain true to orthodox faith as recorded in the Scriptures.
The College is home to some of the most influential theological thinkers and remains one of the world’s foremost graduate schools of Christian studies.
In 1982, Greg Livingstone, Frontiers’ founder, realized God was calling him out of recruiting missionaries destined only for North Africa, into a new challenge: – To go where the need was greatest and reach all Muslim peoples with the redemptive message of Jesus Christ. He envisioned a new enterprise: bringing the Good News to the least reached corners of the world – men and women willing to go to the most challenging places to share Jesus Christ’s message of salvation with Muslims. Frontiers was born.Frontiers now sends workers from 50 countries across six continents. These workers catalyze reproducing Christward movements among Muslims.
With love and respect, we’re inviting all Muslim peoples to follow Jesus. We’re dreaming of the day when we see the Good News brought to every tribe, language, people, and nation (Revelation 5:9).
